Two backpack straps.
Features two built-in wheels, two side handles and a back handle to wheel around the case easily. An indispensable addition to the ABS cases during transport. Approximately 1" inch of foam insulation. An indispensable addition to the case during transport.  This cover is molded to the shape of BAM cases (Light, Flight, American, Shuttle and Voyager.  The BAM cover could fit other brands of cello cases.  However, we cannot recommend its efficiency when used with non BAM cases.  We are aware that it is impossible to fully protect instruments against shocks during air trips.  However, it has been our experience that the most reliable solution would be to use a combination of BAM cover and BAM cello case.  We would also recommend, if possible, to remove the cello’s bridge during the journey.

The HIGHTECH cello case is constructed from a combination of high performance material.  The results of its tree layer structure with AIREX core (rigid cellular component) are extreme lightness and high mechanical characteristics.  Extremely shock resistant metallized ABS exterior over a thinner PVC inner layer lined with velvet.  The resulting composite provides the instrument with exceptional protection, which has no equal nowadays.  The outfitting of the case was carefully studied:

  •  The extreme structural rigidity makes it possible to reduce the number of latches.  Result: less weight.

  •  A suspension system of injected foam cushions at the level of neck and endpin, where the instrument is less fragile.

  • Comfortable and well placed handles.

  •  Two padded/anti-slip shoulder straps, for greater comfort and ease in carrying the case.

  •  Two pockets for accessory and sheet music.

This case offers an excellent resistance to shocks and gives very good protection.  Its lightness will be the answer for musicians whose priorities are to carry as little as possible and protect their instrument.

BAM repairs or replaces (at our discretion) cases damaged by manufacturing defects.  This guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse or neglect.  For your convenience, BAM provides maintenance on all its cases.  You should also remember to purchase insurance for your case, same as you would for your instrument.
